SOPRANO EMMA MOORE

Soprano Emma Moore, with "a voice as pure as liquid gold", is an accomplished young singer. Currently an Ensemble Member of the Deutsches National Theater Weimar, her roles here include Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Antonia (Tales of Hoffmann) and Micaela (Carmen).
Other performed roles include Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Marzeline (Fidelio), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), the leading role of Sophie Scholl in Udo Zimmermans Chamber Opera Weiße Rose and the Countess (Le Nozze di Figaro) at the Summer Festival Schloss Weikersheim.
Alongside her operatic engagements, Emma is a sought after recitalist.
She was a member of the Lied Akademie at the Heidelberg Spring Festival led by Thomas Hampson in 2016, and gave several recitals for the International Hugo-Wolf Akademie Stuttgart. At the invitation of Brigitte Fassbaender, she has appeared in recital in Munich, and at the Eppan Summer Festival and Richard Strauss Festival Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Emma made her Swiss debut at the Boswil Summer Festival with pianist Julius Drake.
Her debut recital disc, together with Duo Partner Klara Hornig, will be released in 2021.
Emma's concert repertoire includes such works as the Bach Magnificat, Faure Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Haydn The Creation and The Seasons, the C Minor Mass of Mozart, Poulenc and Vivaldi Gloria,and Mahler’s Fourth Symphony.
Emma is the Winner of both the prestigious ‘Marianne Mathy Scholarship’ from the Australian Singing Competition, and the Sydney Eisteddfod National Operatic Aria.
She was awarded Second Prize at The International Lied Competition, Stuttgart and ‘Das Lied’ International Song Competition, and was named Winner of the Richard Strauss Voice Competition in Munich.
She studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the University of the Arts Berlin.
